After having a Volvo xc40 for 5 years this car is a waste of money just like the on call subscription. Tanisha the customer services is an argumentative loser who clearly doesnt know the rules.

Explain where the MAGICAL additional $99 fee for roadside came from Tanisha? Ive never paid over the $200 Volvo on call app price so not sure what you scam artist are doing.

Youre working for a company making peanuts and feeling bold, and you dont even own a Volvo yourself! Ha! *** giving *** a phone and computer!

I have had the APP and have been booking tow and flat tire via app and never the phone.

SMH hire people who know what the *** they are talking about.

Having to get my car serviced is a hassle I dread calling OnCalk because every representative is rude. But after today Volvo is not my preferred brand and I will be trading this piece of *** in.

Unsatisfactory Response To Ongoing Post New Car Delivery Issues

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
It was, and continues to be, an emotionally and financially draining stressful experience. 55 days after purchasing a new vehicle from Volvo and after daily emails to Volvo Customer Assistance during that time frame, I was finally informed that they wanted my serious concerns to be addressed by the dealership. They took no responsibility to resolve my issues. After buying cars for more than 50 years, I am beyond aggravated by the lack of response from Volvo and their inability to resolve the matter.

Coupon or discount for volvo subscription?

receiving coupon. i think volvo subscription should be given for lifetime ownership of volvo since it can unlock vehicle remotely bis this feature taken away if you dont review? if the car comes with that feature, it should stay with that feature and you shouldnt have to pay for extra because a Vehicle starts getting a couple years old

Volvo screwing me for no reason

Volvo Cars - Volvo screwing me for no reason
Volvo Cars - Volvo screwing me for no reason - Image 2

My company leased a Volvo XC90 in 2018, it was a great Vehicle. We used the volvo portal, set all communications to email, and setup autopayment.

Every payment was made via autopay and was always deducted on time, every communication was through email. We returned the vehicle as instructed to the local dealership, which changed hands after we leased the vehicle. They checked out the car, said we owed nothing, and in fact would be receiving a check for services not rendered. The final payment came out of our account, and everything disappeared in the volvo portal.

We continued to receive spam emails and mail, which were always discarded. At some point at the end of 2022 we were assessed $361 by volvo for some reason. This was a year after we returned the vehicle. It was not paid because first it was not auto drafted like everything else, and second, there was zero communication about it.

Volvo claims they mailed and called, but it was never communicated via email and was not autdrafted. Why not? Fast forward to now and they have made it look like we did not pay 5 payments on my personal credit report, whcih has 100% excellent payment history. I called Volvo and asked how they could do this to a good customer who paid in full and on time?

They said sorry it is what it is.

Great car or not this entire experience has caused me and my company considerable harm, and for what? $361, which would never have been a problem if they had just drafted out of our account or at minimum fixed their mistake, instead I pay for it for the next 7 years.

Horrible Customer Service

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full
My car arrived damaged from Sweden on January 11, 2023. Although Volvo arranged the transport, all the responsibility for gathering paperwork (all within control and/or possession of Volvo) and filing a damage claim with the transport insurer fell upon me. The insurer is in the UK. Even when the claim was approved (on February 17), I had to front the payment for the repairs. I have been waiting on the reimbursement!!! I was advised the payment was forthcoming on March 15, on March 25, and on March 31. Now I receive no response when I submit inquiries and complaints.

Falsifying Inspection and endangering Volvo customers with absolute disregard at all levels so far.

stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full stars-rating-full

We were sent out of the service department with a falsified safety inspection of our volvo vehicle. We then went on a long road trip with my two small children on snowy mountain passes only to experience very bad unexplainable shaking when braking.

We had absolutely no brakes. none. Not even close call. But strangley our inspections moments before said they were fine.

What else didn't they inspect? Why even pay for the "reassurance" of world class service if they do not even complete what they say they will. How is a customer supposed to feel safe with this type of service, and what came next is also a reason to not feel safe. Customer care does not care at all.

I have over 20 different messages and email attempts to contact somebody, at this point, anyone, that will care at all.

I have been told the same thing repeatedly, that a supervisor, Alexia, would call me back, and ever time she doesn't I kindly attempt to call her and she has somehow left for the day. I feel like its a practical joke being played on me, and so far from the reason we purchased a Volvo, we will be shopping competitors now since we can't even get an honest oil change at this dealership we have no faith in the continued dishonesty or lack of transparency going forward in the service of our volvo, in the saftey of our volvo or in the honesty of the Volvo brand in general.

Dealership Service

Purchased a certified Volvo XC60 from Volvo Cars Saint Leonard so I thought... received the vehicle and it had a dent in the front bumper, a crack in the back bumper, the skid plate underneath hanging off AND needed to spend $1601.55 in repairs to receive a safety inspection in my province.

After all of this the dealership where I purchased the vehicle is refusing to communicate with me, not returning my calls or emails and refusing to take any responsibility. This recipe is incredibly forgiving. You can use as many apples as you like. Volvo if you have such high standards you should start with setting some standards with the dealers that you allow to use your name and sell your product.

Can't find words to describe how disappointing this has been for me!! DO

Maintenance Service

Today August 11, 2022, i took my 2007 S60 Volvo to Kundert Volvo in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey for an Oil Change and to check my radio because I was not getting any sound out of it since my alarm went off. Since that time the radio is on but has no sound.

I read in the manual that the dealer has a Code and should be able to enter the code so that the sound would work. The dealer told me that this car did not have any code and therefore the was nothing they can do. I told them that i find that answer unacceptable and Volvo Corp. needs to stand behind their cars and should have a solution for this problem.

I had this car brand new since 2007 and to tell you the true, is the best car I ever had. I need your help in finding the solution to get my radio to play.

Original review Feb 01, 2022

Firstly, I was also scammed at purchasing and never received all of my paperwork at after signing. Most recently, my engine light has been on for reasons unknown.

The car was purchased new in 2017 I'm the only owner and driver, and I've taken it for regular maintenance as recommended however, this is the third time in 5 years I've had to pay for engine issues in addition to oil changes, brakes, etc. The price for repairs is always a mystery that requires several hundred dollars of testing before you even get to the actual repair price, which increases every time. This most recent incident I brought my car in due to the engine light coming on, and I was told it was due to a front and rear sensor, and a loose torque I was quoted $2445.00 for the repairs. I bring my car back a couple of weeks later ready to make the repairs and despite handing the mechanic the paperwork from the previous diagnosis he insisted I needed a $266.00 smoke test to determine the issue, after the smoke test was performed I was told my engine has a leak which is very hard to get to, and it'll cost $3867.00 in addition to my regular maintenance and the cost of the smoke screen diagnostic.

There was no mention of a Sensor or Torque issue as previously diagnosed, and they provided no answer as to how 2 techs could come up to such different assessments of the same vehicle.

I don't know what or who to believe, but I know for sure they're lying and stealing from their customers.

PLEASE AVOID VOLVO DEALERSHIPS AT ALL COST. DO NOT BUY AND DO NOT PATRONIZE.

I HAVE INVESTED JUST OVER $100K INTO THIS CAR THAT TECHNICALLY ISN'T 5 YEARS OLD YET! THEY ARE CON ARTIST, AND THEIVES OF THE WORST KIND.

Tires had to be replaced after 15,000 miles

I had to replace all 4 tires on my leased XC60 Volvo 2020 with only 15,000 miles. Tread was down to 3/32. Volvo does not cover Tires and does not rotate tires part of their service/maintenance for my lease vehicle. I had leased Cadillac prior and never had an issue with tires and their service dept. rotated the tires as a part of their service maintenance.
