I would like to express my dissappointment towards the services provided by Penang Service Center, Malaysia.

My car (PLQ 2810, V40) was sent to Volvo workshop in Nov 2017 due to flooding incident happended in Penang. Since then my car was in workshop until last week 7 Mar 2018 when I really need my car back, which the car still not in fully fixed as suppose to be.

During the period from Nov 2017 to 7 Feb 2018, I had made several calls to workshop checking the servicing and replacement progress. It was me who making the call instead of getting progress update from Volvo. The answer I was getting would always be โ€˜in progress and still checking....โ€™. with no estimate of time or cost my car would be fixed.

I finally losing my patient with this open ended solution as I really need my car for Chinese New Year period. I pressed on the service team by giving the date I would like to collect my car before Chinese New Year. The service team replied with promise that I would be getting my car on the 14 Feb 2018. When I went to collect on the promised date, the condition is far from my expectation - water mark, audio and entertainment device not working, seats were not fixed..... On the same day, the Service Manager show me the list of item to be replaced and seeking my approval to proceed ordering the parts! I MEAN ON THE DAY I AM COLLECTING MY CAR! and telling me the parts require 2 weeks for delivery and the cost.....

I really wonder why this was not checked and informed for the past 3 months while my car was sitting in the workshop.

Eventually I did not able to collect my car and I have to last minute arrange a car for my family during Chinese New Year holiday.

THIS RUINED MY FESTIVE HOLIDAY MOOD COMPLETELY with all the hazzle I been through.

I seek for cost estimation for many times but no respond, until the day I tried to pick up my car - i got an on going imcomplete bill.

I given another week for the parts to deliver and ended up took me 3 weeks.

On 3 Mar 2018, I received a message from the Service Manager telling me my driver seat module is not working and need to be replaced.....

While i am writing today I still havenโ€™t got the date to fix the driver seat module....

I talked to several managers but none of them could really help to resolve my problem. I think the best way is trying to get in touch with you see if you can lead me to someone USEFUL to help resolve my case.

I am paying monthly repayment for my car but not able to enjoy driving my once beloved Volvo.

I am really dissappointed with such bad service, especially with the brand called Volvo.

I seek your attention to my case hoping the service in Penang workshop could be improved and to gain back confidence from Volvo car owners especially in Penang.

I would also like to stress the inconveneint caused to me during these period of time including cost and time.

Hope to receive your respond soon.

Reason of review: Order processing issue.
